Got something to say?

This story is very disturbing. No sane parent will try to sell their baby, let alone for PHP1,000.00. This is a a cry for help in desperation so that her baby can survive.
If the baby dies in her care she would be devastated, because she could not provide the basic means of survival for her baby. Likewise she would also be devastated, when the baby is taken away from her. But it’s her only choice.
Obviously, I don’t know the full story, but based on the report, I just read. Her action is based on desperation—to make sure her baby survives.
The police on the other hand arrested her and will lay charges for child abuse? That’s just pathetic. The police should instead, get the proper care and need that she needs.
Actually this is the government’s job. What’s the government doing about, poverty in Philippines?
