Murder charges filed against policeman in Agora shootout

Cagayan de Oro – City Prosecutors have filed multiple murder charges against Police Inspector Anselmo Ladra and his companions for allegedly killing four person, including two soldiers early morning og march 24 this year.
Prosecutors found probable cause that Ladra and his still unidentified companions murdered Sgt. Michael Seno, Cpl Roque Tagalongan, Leo Acedo and Jun-jun Sabala.
The four were allegedly shot by Ladra and company in C&N Videoke Bar in Agora Market, Lapasan, this City.
Witness complainants in the case are SPO2 Rodrigo Seno, marydel Tagalongan and Erma Acedo.
According to City Chief Prosecutor Fidel Macauag, Ladra did not even bother to show up in the case’s preliminary investigation.
“Hindi nag-corroborate ang kanyang sinabi na ang kanyang asset ang bumaril sa mga biktima, he was armed at that time and he was taking advantage being superior,” Macauag told The Daily Corridor.
In the sworn statement of the witnesses Michelle Acosta, Josie N. Baltonado and Jenelyn Bade, the crime started when a glass fell and broke.
The Soldiers then introduced themselves as enlisted men of the Army without showing their identification cards.
But instead of getting pacified, Ladra alledgely drew his hand gun and started shooting Seno and Tagalongan, resulting in their deaths.
On his way out, Ladra shoot and killed the other two victims.
Macauag said that Ladra did not offer evidence that they thought was convincing to the prosecutors that he did not commit murder.
Ladra is now at large.
